OVERVIEW

The essence of ministry at Fairlane is to equip, to refine, and to reach out. Obedience to the Word of God brings about the work of God. We are able to hear the Word and do the work. To hear and do nothing is one sign of a deceived heart. Faith acts. To believe is to do!

Equipping
All are called to take action. Each and every person that God has placed in His Body is thoroughly gifted to join God where He is already at work. Each person is individually responsible for how their gifts and talents are used, but the body is responsible to provide the means to equip each individual for ministry.

"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." (Eph. 4:11,12)

Refining
As we are taught and tested, God removes the impurities.

"I will bring the one-third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, 'This is My people';
And each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.' " (Zech. 13:9)

Reaching Out
The ultimate goal here is to attract people to the person of Jesus Christ. We live among as diverse a group of neighbors as anywhere in the world. Our mission in outreach is to show love and respect to our neighbors--to let the Light abide within us and shine forth to the glory of God.

"Those who are wise shall shine
Shine like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever." (Dan. 12:3)

ADULT MINISTRIES

Wednesday Night Service
6:30-8:00 pm

What happens when God’s people pray?  Join us on Wednesday evenings and find out! Pastor Andy is currently leading the study What Happens When God’s People Pray? The evening includes study and discussion, group worship, and prayer.  Childcare is provided.

Small Group Ministry

Small groups at Fairlane Alliance Church enable people to experience authentic, Christ-honoring relationships that lead to a deeper walk with Jesus Christ. As God’s people seek Him together and genuinely care for each other, they will begin to experience the life-change that happens through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Adult Small Groups

Early-Married Small Groups

College/Career Small Group (ReMade)

Topic: Romans 6-8
Day/Time: Sunday 6-9

YOUTH MINISTRIES

UNbound Youth Ministries
(Youth meetings are in The Annex- 925 Mason, next door to the church)

UNbound Jr. High Youth Group meets Wed. nights from 6:30-8PM in the Annex.

Grades 6-8. Come and enjoy games, interactive Bible teaching, and small groups to encourage and challenge you. And, of course, there’s always a great snack at the end! Our Leaders are Pastor Andrew + Emily Brackmann, Andy Zelasko, and Pam Scott.

UNbound Sr. High Youth Group meets Sun. nights, 6:30-8:30PM in the Annex.

Grades 9-12. At Sr. High we spend time in worship through music led by our Youth Band, then hear a challenge from God’s Word, followed by time in small groups and then snack time! Our Sr. High Leaders are Pastor Andrew + Emily Brackmann, Andy Zelasko, Mark Corcoran, Emily Cawthon, and Rodney + Elena Schook.

Our mission is to reach the youth of the Dearborn area with the saving message of Jesus Christ and to see them transformed into sincere and unashamed Christ-like servants, who follow Jesus into their world and live out God’s Word in all areas of life. We are guided by Christ’s “Great Commandment” and “Great Commission.”

Immigrant Oasis

Fairlane Alliance Church is partnered with a local ministry that serves the Arab community of Dearborn and Detroit.  Opportunities to serve include:

• Assisting English classes for both men and women
• Instruction in basic computer applications
• Assisting citizenship classes
• Child care
